"Y pensar que he estado hasta en Nueva York, y nunca en un sitio como este."

Queridos míos, YA SON VACACIONES UEUEUEUEUE, de hecho son vacaciones desde hace casi una semana, pero en fin, ha sido una semana llena de cosas y de tardes típicas de tomar helado hasta saciarse y pasear, y un largo etcétera. El fin de semana pasado, fui de acampada con mis compañeros de un proyecto de Astrofísica, fue algo inolvidable, vimos un atardecer impresionante  y nos colamos en cuevas y gritamos y estuvimos observando con distintos telescopios durante toda la madrugada  y comimos patatas a las 2:00a.m y dormí al raso cual aventurera y tantas cosas bonitas, en fin, magia. El caso es que el martes me voy a Dublín durante tres semanas para aprender más inglés y blabla, lo típico, tengo muchísimas ganas por eso y tal de que Dublín es ummmm… Dublín. Es por eso que estos días se basan en no tener nada que ponerse porque todo está en proceso de “¿Me lo llevo para Dublín o no me lo llevo?”, por lo tanto mis outfits se resumen en repetidas blusas florales y pantalones cortos, y prendas que hacen que este calor no me derrita.  

Hey yaaaa, HOLIDAYS ARE HERE UEUEUEUEUE actually I’m on holidays since almost a week, but anyway, it has been a week full of things, you know typical summer afternoon eating ice-cream until die and walking on, and a long etcetera. The past weekend, I went camping with my astrophysicists colleagues (we have done a project about Astrophysics this year), it has been unforgettable, we saw an amazing twilight and we slipped into caves and we  shouted and we observed with different telescopes all the night and we ate potatoes at 2:00a.m and I slept out in the country feeling like a total adventurous girl, and and and we made so many beautiful things, in short, magic. Anyway, on Tuesday I'm going to Dublin for three weeks to learn more English and blahblah, typical things, I’m so excited because you know Dublin is so… Dublin. That's why these days are based on not having anything to wear because everything is in the process of "Will I wear this in Dublin or won’t I?” So my outfits are summarized in repeated floral blouses, shorts and clothes that keep me safe against the horrible heat.

 Holaaaaaa,  buaf, al fin es viernes, tras una semana de estar mala, y estudiando, y más estudiando, y estudiando,  ahora puedo descan… ahora toca seguir estudiando ueeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeh *suenan trompetitas* pero bueno, al menos ya queda menos para Navidad (y para Doctor Who *whovian loca chillado*).  ¿Sabéis ya que vais a hacer estas vacaciones?¿Y sobre los regalos? Yo la verdad es que no veo vida más allá de estas dos semanas llenas de exámenes, por lo que no tengo nada planeado (excepto para los regalos, que ya tengo cositas pensadas jijijijiji).

Hey yaaaaaa, oh my cat, it’s Fridaaaaaaaaaaaay! after a week of being sick, and studying, and more studying, and studying, now I can res..No, now, I have to continue studying ueeeeeeeeeeh *little trumpets sounds* but hey, at least it’s not long for Christmas (and Doctor Who *mad whovian shouting*). Do you know what are you going to do this Christmas? What about gifts? I really can’t see life beyond these next two weeks full of exams, so I have nothing planned (except for gifts, I have some things in mind, yep.)

Bueno, y ahora tras un rato soñando con las vacaciones de Navidad, volvamos a la realidad. Pasaba principalmente por aquí para enseñaros mi look de hoy, molto molto semplice *claire intentando hablar en italiano* y con “semplice” es que es sencillo, sencillo. Un outfit casual para días de exámenes y blablá en los que solo te interesa estar cómoda (sin perder del todo el estilo) tras horas sin dormir. El outfit se basa en un oversize negro, unos skinny turquesa (los adoro, son del Primark de Edinburgh, solo £10 asudhasytdha), unos oxfords color celeste muy muy clarito (Topshop), una cazadora negra (Springfield), una bufanda (tomada prestada del armario de mi madre), unos guantes rosas (H&M) y por último mi bolso estilo doctor-bag pero más grande (Pull&Bear), eso es todo.

Well, and now after a while dreaming about Christmas holidays, CLAIRE come back to reality. I wanted to show you my look today, molto molto semplice * Claire is trying to speak Italian* and when I say "semplice" is that it’s simple, very simple. It’s a casual outfit for those days when you just want to be comfortable (without losing the style) after hours without sleep. The outfit is basically, a black oversize jumper ,  a pair of turquoise skinny pants (love them, they are from the Primark in Edinburgh, asudhasytdha only £ 10), a super light blue oxfords (Topshop), a black jacket (Springfield), a scarf (taken borrowed from my mum's closet), pink gloves (H & M) and finally my big doctor-bag style bag (Pull & Bear), that's all.

¡Hola a todos! Esta mañana no tenía colegio y, como mi cámara ha empezado a funcionar de nuevo, de una forma mágica y extraña, pues he aprovechado para salir un rato con mi hermana y hacer algunas fotos. A pesar de ser un supuesto día de otoño todavía hace demasiado sol. Bueno, el outfit que llevo es muy sencillo: una falda amarilla con estampado, un jersey beige, unos calcetines azul marino y unos simples oxfords marrones.  

Hey ya everyone! This morning I haven't had school and, as my camera started working again (in a magic and strange way), I've gone out with my sister to take some photos. Despite of being an autumn day, there's still too much sun here. Anyway, the outfit I wear is very simple: a yellow skirt with print, a beige sweater, blue socks and brown oxfords.

I want to dedicate this last photo to my blogger friend: Greer Hall (visit her blog, NOW!). She's such an inspiration to me. She's so cute and she's got a great style. Those last days, she's having a difficult time, bad time, poo time. But I wanted to tell her one of my favourite quotes: “Life is hard, but so very beautiful”. Dear Greer, if you're reading that, please, smile.

Queridos míos, lo primero de todo, ignorad esos dos dibujos de ahí arriba, es el resultado de cuando le das a Claire un lápiz: aparecen conejos y gatos bien vestidos, y pájaros con gafas intelectuales. Pero bueno, ese no es el motivo por el que estoy aquí, el motivo es que mi cámara de fotos está rota. SÍ, ROTA. Y todo el mundo debería saber que yo no soy nada sin mi cámara NADA NADA NADA NADA NADA. Y bueno, así que ahora me tengo que apañar robándole de vez en cuando la cámara a mi hermana, pero claro, no es lo mismo. El caso es que os quería enseñar algunas de mis últimas compras. Básicamente se trata de un jersey de ángora rosa pálido y unas botas chelsea negras clásicas con tacón. La verdad es que llevaba muchísimo tiempo queriendo unas chelsea negras porque cuando fui a Londres se las ví a muchas London-girl y me encantaba como quedaban, las veo muy prácticas y cómodas, combinan con todo, desde un look más casual hasta un look más formal. Por otra parte, el jersey, que es de H&M, es es es asudjhasdhga perfecto, súper gustosito y suave, en plan"so sweet"... desde el primer momento que lo ví me enamoré de él. Hmmm y lo otro que podéis ver es una taza de Zara Home de la que también me enamoré... síp, otra taza más que se añade a mi colección de tazas para el té.

Hey ya! well, first of all, ignore those two pictures up there, is the result when you give a pencil and a paper to Claire: well dressed rabbits and cats and intellectual birds suddenly appear out of nowhere. But hey, that's not exactly why I'm here, the reason is that my camera is broken. YEAP, BROKEN. And everyone should know that I am nothing without my camera NOTHING NOTHING NOTHING NOTHING. Well, so now I have to stole my sister's camera, but of course, it isn't the same. Anyway, I wanted to show you some of my latest purchases: basically they're a pale pink angora sweater and classic black heeled Chelsea boots . The thing is that I wanted a pair of black Chelsea boots since a lot of time ago because, when I went to London last summer, I saw many London-girls wearing it, and I loved it and I think they're very useful and comfortable, you can wear it with everything! from a casual look to a more formal look. Moreover, the sweater is from H&M it's ASDGHASDGHA it's perfect, since the first moment I saw it I fell in love, I think it's so sweet and OH MY CAT, also super comfortable and soft. Well, the other thing you can see in the picture is a cup which I also fell in love with (I bought it in ZaraHome), and well, I guess it's just another cup, to add to my collection of tea cups.

 

PD: no puedo parar de escuchar esa canción, es sencillamente perfecta.
