Claire is back.

And here I am again, listening to Bob Dylan and with a big nostalgia and a strong tonsillitis. After three perfect weeks in the city of Dublin, the ginger is back. To begin with, what about Dublin? Well, there are many cities that are more beautiful, however,  Dublin has something that welcomes you and makes you fall in love with the city, and I do not know if it’s the flowers falling down from the balconies, or that eternal twilight, but the truth is that I would have stayed there for much longer. Really, what I really like is Ireland in general, it’s simply beautiful.

On the other hand, something I love about Dublin is the street style: an Anglo-Saxon style, with skater skirts and many colorful crop-tops, ponytails and as always, a mixture of textures and patterns, something very typical of Ireland and their British neighbors. It is a style that dares to innovate and that's something I love, I tried to collect some outfits that I liked which I saw on the street (although I’ve just taken photo of some outfits but I really like 89349285872 outfits of the street),I'll show you some of them in my next posts.

And here's one of the outfits I wore on my first week in Dublin. The truth is that it’s absurd because when someone thinks about Ireland, it  comes to our mind green everywhere with a lot of rain and cold, well, no way, it was green, yep, but it was so hot and there weren’t any clouds in the sky, so, I felt stupid when I saw all the jumpers that I had brought with me. The thing is that this outfit was a vintage pink-strange-color shirt, a very high-waisted shorts from Topshop with black and white stripes, black tights, my classic oxfords, a black bag with studs in one of the pockets (Pimkie) and finally, my bowler hat.

There are still a lot of outfits, hauls, places and reminds to show you, so, wait for my next posts hihi, but ohmycat, the computer is so hot *claire dies*

Bye bye my lovelies

(I want) a black and white summer.

Why are photos in black and white as beautiful as they are? They have something that make them so special, they are so, I don’t know ... Nostalgic and they give a real sense of time travel. And I say all this because I was here, thinking about the death. Just kidding. I was here eating (delicious) cherries and reading the Vogue online, when I’ve found a story of pictures of people from the 40’s, 50’s, 60’s, enjoying their summer at the pool, beach, etc.. The thing is that my love for the 50’s is increasing every day, and not just for the bikini bottom with (super) high waist that I like so, and not only for those toupees full of hairspray, I simply adore the 50’s because they are, ummmm, they are asoieaskdfae. They are perfect.

And that's what I love the 50's because you don't need to be a Beatle or to be Marcelo from "La Dolce Vita" to be happy and to enjoy summer. Ok, maybe, in our days we also don't need to be them, but, can you see how happy all those persons seem to be? And they didn't have internet or other technology things, actually, what they had it's, you know babe, Rock'n roll.

A Bowler Hat and some Wild Things.

Hi everyone!  Yesterday, I have gone to the cinema with my friends, and we have watched Dark Shadows,  the new Tim Burton's film, I like it so much! Above all, the image which is typical of Tim Burton's films and the characters, and of course, the actors: Johnny Depp, Chloë Moretz, Helena Bonham Carter, etc. The plot is different of usual Burton's plots, it's more like a comedy/drama, it's weird but I like it  After it, I have taken advantage of the good weather   afternoon sunlight to take photos of my outfit, and some ith my friends.   My outfit was very simple a   tshirt of Where the Wild things are, my jeans, my converse, and my new black bowler hat from ASOS(I love it). Hope you like it! <3

06 April 2012

Oh, happy day, happy moments and nice shoes.

Hi! That day, first I wore shorts, but I have to change for long pants because in Italy you must wear it in the church or in the Vaticano. Then I decided to wear the pants all the day, so, my outfit were an oversize shirt, a t-shirt of E.T, a pair of green pants, my black oxford, and lace tights. The outfit of my friend is a Beatles t-shirt, jacket from Zara (I think so), skinny jeans, and red mocassin. Hope you like it! (:
