Outfit of the (autumnal) day.

Today is a beautiful fall day, with rain, with sun, and it's Saturday, so I decided to go out for a walk and to go shopping for my Halloween costume, and then I took some photos of my outfit. The truth is that I wore these clothes to go to school last Monday, removing the bowler hat and the bag, and I really liked it because I think it’s pretty perfect for this time, the colors and the comfort and well I don’t know but it’s very autumnal. It's basically white blouse from Primark, a dark red or burgundy cardigan from H&M, my Levi's shorts, black tights and my "Vans" from Primark. And to finish: my bowler hat, gold collar, and my black studded bag.

Claire viendo pelis). Y vosotros, ¿tenéis algo pensado para Halloween?

Next week October will finish and tchaaaaan tchan tchan tchan, it's Halloween, and althoug here in Spain we don’t have the super Anglo-Saxon tradition, we do something, so you'll see my costume and  I hope that it will be as great as it is in my head.  Anyway, for now I'm leaving because today I  was happily going to the video store (my second home) and I found a movie from Bertolucci  based on one of my favorite book "Io e te" so here we go, cinema afternoon (I know it’s so strange, Claire watching movies ). And you, what about your Halloween costume?

26 August 2013

Summer (absurd) facts.

During summer is difficult to know in which day of the month or of the week we live, until suddenly you open the calendar and boom! You find that it’s 26th of August, and that’s when you notice that there is less than a month to these long summer nights finish. But of course, it’s better not to think about it and try to make the most of these last days.

And here is Claire, in her village, in her grandparents’ house, where time goes slowly and quickly at the same time and where all the days seems like each other, without basically any difference, they could be resume to just one phrase: absolutely peace. And that’s why I have to make the most of that peace and lack of haste, which sometimes could being boring, but then it’s what we miss during the rest of the year: that summer boredom.  Afternoons watching films, reading, blogging, going for a long dick in the swimming pool, and nights awake to observe the starry sky, going party, and drinking 12391239981 glass of fresh milk, or thinking and making absurd plans to the future.

Well, and leaving in a side all this depressing reflection about the few days that left to finish the summer and about how beautiful summer is and blah blah, I have to say that these last days I’ve been watching some films which I have liked so much. One of them it’s “My little Princess”, a French film setting in the 70’s which tells the story about a girl and her mother, a  crazy woman which love erotic photography and well, really the film is a bit traumatic but the dressing, the image and the set design are quite good. On the other hand,   I’ve watched “Factory Girl” based on the biography of Edie Sedgwick, the “muse” of Andy Warhol. This one I’ve really liked, not only because of the set design and the 60’s and 70’s style in New York, but overall because of its wonderful soundtrack… I can’t stop listening it! If you have time don’t doubt about watching it!
